The entrance to the pool is located on the Grant Avenue (left) side of the school, as
indicated on the map, below.

Note: You may schedule Swimming Lessons during any hours when Drop-in Swimming is available.
The pool will follow the Montgomery County School System plans for inclement weather. When MCPS is closed, the pool will be closed. If MCPS announces late opening for the schools, the pool will not be open during the early bird hours (6:30am - 9:00am). On days of late opening, the pool will open at 4:00pm. In the event that MCPS announces early closing of schools, because of a daytime weather event, call the Pool Office at 301-891-8017 or Joyce at 301-565-0190 for information about when the pool will close.

You may pay for admission at the pool in cash or with a check. Montgomery County residents pay a discounted fee, as do youth and seniors. See the chart below for our fees.

Passes for 12 swims at the price of 10 are available (see below)
Pool passes provide frequent swimmers with a discount. They can come to the pool 12 times for the price of 10 admissions. You may purchase passes at the pool during our normal operating hours. (See above)
Adventist Community Services of Greater Washington (ACSGW) operates the Piney Branch Swimming Pool under contract with the Montgomery County government. ACSGW insists that everyone at the pool adheres to the the County's pool rules, as itemized in the document titled: "Montgomery County Recreation Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations."
